Web Design

You mean web development? Actually, allow me to explain… and what we can do for you.
Designing a website is not the same as developing one. They can overlap and often do.
Here’s the scoop: So, you want to hire me for designing your website, that is, you need a page or two (or more) that expresses artistically and textually who you are, what you do, where you are, and why you should be given attention. Right?
We would discuss about creating a logo, deciding what design template to use as basis for the site’s structure, colors to be used for elements on a page (i.e. a gradient backdrop for your header, behind the headlining text), photos (and edits if applicable) to be featured on the site, videos too (if applicable, and also their edits), textual sizes and spacing, etc.
So far, all the above is referred to as the web design process (even construction) of a website, or in other words, the creation of a visual presence, an extension of you on cyberspace.
Now if the conversation steers in the direction of web development, well, expect for me to bring up questions concerning your domain name, hosting, SEO needs, and content creation goals you’d like to achieve with your website.
Oftentimes, this is the case. In fact, this is always the case no matter what. Web design = web development. It is unavoidable. I mention all this because you need to know exactly how and what to expect from this process should you be interested in having me work on establishing something on the web with your name on it.
Here are the technical tidbits in how I do my web work…
I almost exclusively design and develop websites for people on WordPress (.org NOT .com – the former is a free platform, the latter, you need to pay for templates to base your website off of). WordPress (.org) which is a popular content management system (or CMS for short). It is useful CMS that allows anyone (even you) to build web pages and blog posts with ease.
There are many CMS’s out there such as Wix.com and Weebly but I stick to WordPress because that’s what I am most familiar with, as is the most popular CMS to use for its heavy developer support (plugins, themes, and customization tools which I will explain shortly).

In doing so, I specialize in responsive web design, a much needed marketing tool that fully caters to a modern and professional online experience. In addition, I work in email design marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing and search engine optimization. Should I get to contribute to your website, in addition to the three aforementioned services, you can definitely think of me as a reliable and dedicated part of your business.

After all, why just lessen the worry of having a website done when you can be free of all of the extra stress of additional marketing work (to get customers further engaged to your site and business) by having me doing it? As a web designer and consultant, I happily will pledge my loyalty to support your online storefront, not just to simply design and/or replace a website and not hear from me again.

Alongside web design and marketing, I would be happy to offer my assistance in these services. In the meantime, please reach out if you feel that my services lines up with your business goals and visions.

At this time, I am focused mainly in serving these following industries/areas: blogs, e-commerce, entertainment, food & drink (restaurants), news, photography & portfolio. If your business specialty is not represented above, do not fret for I will gladly oblige!
